Terrorism -- Town Hall Meeting

I attended a townhall meeting last night a Mr. James Biesterfeld lectured us about terrorism.

He is a Retired CIA Operative, Terrorism Expert, and Author who will discuss homeland security and answer questions regarding America’s efforts to identify and prevent terrorism.

Representatives of the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles City Council, and Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office will be on hand to address your questions and concerns.

** I came away with more confusion then when I started. The bottom line is there are no easy answers, we have our views and customs and they have theirs. We want them to be more like us and they want us to be more like them. Neither side wants to change. **

Rest in Peace

Wow! I don't know why it's shocking it's certainly not a surprise. But there is still irony in the way he got killed. A stingray hits him with it's tail right in the heart! He died instantly.

I liked him, thought he was crazy for taking all the dangerous chances but never the less he was very likeable. Cute and so full of life and energy. Certainly loved what he did, it was obvious.

Although I was outraged when his wife handed him their two month old son to dangle in front of a crocodile! Thank God nothing happened that day. My sympathies go out to his wife and family, he will be missed. I'm sure we will see his reruns for many years to come.
